The dash might need an update but i don't want it to end up like the Ps one. The whole point of the dash is to keep it very simple so anyone can find what they want and implement functions easily and quickly. Having lots of menus only complicates matters. Less is more. If it really is bringing everything to the table then i will be questioning where my live fee is going. The arcade doesn't have a hard drive as standard but comes with a memory card which will allow you to save games. It should be all the space you need for game saves. My brother has 40+ games saved on his so its not a problem. If you want downloadable videos and demos though your better of with the premium.
I keep my list on both consoles down to around 20 friends as i found that when i had loads on there i harldy ever spoke to them again and forgot where i meet them so seemed a bit pointless. I have about 10 slots filled with close friends whom i chat and play with every session and 10 for people i don't know personally but through games whom i join up with now and again.

No way. I like Tim and Johnny but Tim Burtons style is far to audience friendly for silent hill, he's never really gotten away from the whole disney influence. Films like Sweeny Todd and Sleepy hollow look great ( thanks to his amazing cinematographer) but there still very safe and play it by the numbers with no real scares or surprises. There like teen gothic horror by the numbers.

i agree with most of this. I think a grainy less glossy film would be much better and convey the terror more. Stay away from cheap scares and build on atmosphere and character. I liked the first film and as adaptions go it was quite good but silent hill has the portential to be scary as hell..# I want a film that will get under my skin, lots of weirdness please. Keep the sound from the games which is excellent but ditch famous stars which can detract from the believability of the subject matt...

Playing it on the 360 now and it is dissapointing. Its a shame as there some nice ideas in it but the control system, sluggish movement and awkward camera makes it virtually unplayable. The graphics are quite nice and it could have been good with more development time. I was really looking forward to this and was hoping the reviews got it wrong but in this case they were right.
Actually edit that. Thought this was a real ad campaign. For a viral ad its awful and shows no imagination and poses no questions which are the two main functions of a viral ad. I don't think the Resistance guys did this though as they have more style than this.
